Some of our loveliest greens were found in the most unexpected place. While we can always count on our local market for really interesting and unique leafy branches (a must for bringing calm and nature into a Modern Cottage space) sometimes it’s more fun (and it’s free!) to grab your shears and source your own. My absolute favorite branches came from a lush, heavily-treed park, lake-side. The leaves had the ideal citron hue, and the branches were so pretty and delicate. Of course, cutting from your own yard works, too, depending on your vegetation – just a resource to keep in mind next time you’re out enjoying nature and spot something beautiful.
